Jan Bechtold received his Bachelor's degree in Information Systems at the DHBW Mannheim in 2014. In 2019, he received his Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Freiburg.

In April 2019 he joined the Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence (Renningen) in Cooperation with the Computer Vision Group in Freiburg under Prof. Thomas Brox as a full-time PhD student.
