SHREC 2007-Protein Challenge

You can register by sending an e-mail to the following address: shrec(at)informatik.uni-freiburg.de. Please specify, your name, institution and e-mail address.

The query objects will be published on Monday, April 23rd here. You will be able to download them as a zip-file of PDB-files. The task is then to assign each protein file to one of the 27 folds. A ranked list should be provided for each query object of the form:

Obviously, the query protein in this case was 1hbg and it has ideally a distance zero to itself. The protein farthest apart in this case is 1beba, with the distance of 0.9720. In this case the possible distances range between zero and one.

We will pick interesting protein domains from the 27 folds and provide the PDB ATOM section of those. We will of course not provide the domain names of the files. The task is then to create one ranked list for each of the domain structures. The ranked list should contain 633 distance values and the ranking.
