Important notes for the current Release:
You always need to first set (or load) a project file, using 'New Project'
For Data input/output, currently Imaris works best
If your dataset is less than 8 levels thick, use the Advanced Button
and set a Moving Window Radius that is less than half the levels of
your dataset (i.e. 2 for 4 levels, 1 for 2, ...)
After the stitching is finished, the threshold slider is used like this:
- Start at a very high level, 0.9 or so, click 'Re-Estimate Positions'
- You won't get a complete stitching from that, so decrease the
threshold a little and again 'Re-Estimate Positions'
- Repeat until a complete stiting is reached. However, going to less
than 0.5 probably to low (many stacks converge to one blob).
At anytime, you can save the output file. Recommended for saving is again
as an Imaris file.
We would like you to submit all bugs you find. Please use the Advanced
Button and enable writing logfiles. Then include the logfiles from your
home directory, called sticher_*.txt, in your email.
